Special processing for emergency communication:
Transitions emergency communication from spam or
other typical communications by differentiating and distinctly
alerting an emergency. Leveraging this capability circumvents spam
filtering from blocking an emergency communication and enables emergencies
to “rise above the noise level” in order to invoke the appropriate response.

Personalized prioritization and blocking of communication:
Various priorities and device functions are associated to a calling party or calling party type. Inappropriate, nuisance, and malicious communication are blocked in the device (no cumbersome network interfaces or resources are required). Enables the user to selectively receive communication when they choose and from whom they choose.

Multiple modes of operation: This capability enables features such as our e-Mode™. This mode allows users to turn their mobile device “off” or “silence” it, while still being selectively available just for emergencies.
